Adison Yeershalom grew up in a Christian home in Thailand, but faith meant little to him in his youth. By age 20, he was living on his own terms and was married to an atheist, working far from home, and far from God. But when life unravelled, he returned to his grandparents in Chiang Rai, where a local church encouraged him to study at our Indochina Bible Training Centre.

At first, he struggled to adapt. “I used to care only about myself,” Adison says. “But the love, patience, and forgiveness I received from teachers and classmates began to change me.” He nearly dropped out, but the school director urged him to stay and grow. “By God’s grace, I was able to finish the course and during a worship night in my third year, I was filled with the Holy Spirit and born again.”

Today, Adison serves as an assistant pastor at a church of 400 members. He’s helped lead over 50 people to Christ and carries a passion to share the Gospel wherever he goes. “I am able to forgive because I was forgiven. I can love because I was loved.”
