Partner: Bali Life Foundation

Bali Life Foundation is committed to restoring hope, dignity, and purpose to some of the most vulnerable communities in Kuta and greater Denpasar. Working across multiple areas — including education, family support, skills development, and disaster relief — they are changing lives by offering real, practical solutions to long-term poverty.

At the heart of their educational work is the Suwung Community Centre, located near the Denpasar dumpsite. Here, Bali Life runs an informal school program for children who would otherwise have no access to education. Many of these children come from families who live and work on the dumpsite, facing severe hardship and exclusion. The centre provides a safe place for learning, play, and development — restoring dignity to children and opening the door to future schooling opportunities.

In the same location, Bali Life runs the Women’s Workshop, equipping mothers with soft skills and practical training to empower them to provide for their families. These programs not only break generational cycles of poverty, but also foster confidence and community among women who have often felt overlooked and undervalued.

Bali Life also operates the Street Kids Centre in Denpasar, a program focused on reaching children and families who would otherwise be begging on the streets. By offering informal schooling, daily care, and income-generating opportunities for parents, the centre brings stability and hope to families living on the margins.

Beyond education, Bali Life is also active in disaster relief, providing emergency aid and support to communities affected by earthquakes, floods, and other crises across Indonesia.

Hope Global is proud to partner with Bali Life Foundation through financial support and by sending volunteer teams each year to serve alongside their dedicated local staff. Their impact continues to grow through the leadership of Piter and Lyna, whose passion and compassion inspire others to join the mission of transforming lives through love, education, and practical care.
