JOY in every season

We hope and pray that this Christmas you and your family will find great JOY!

2020 has certainly been a wild ride, however there is still much joy to be found in this season. One of our favourite verses that reminds us of this is Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all JOY and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

We want to say a huge thank you for standing with us and continuing to support Hope Global. We have much to celebrate, much to thank God for, and much to truly believe God for into the future. Despite the world experiencing a global pandemic, we have had some major achievements this year, which we couldn’t have achieved without your support!!

Training Centre, Rwanda

Purchased land in Rwanda

Earlier this year we announced that we have been able to PURCHASE LAND IN RWANDA!! This has been a great answer to prayer.

We have established a Working Group who are praying, planning and dreaming about all that the Training Centre could be. They are liaising with locals to find the greatest need, so that this Centre can meet as much of the local need as possible. Empowering and utilising the local community, is one of our main goals – from the start of the project.

We also have an amazing Architect on board who is well experienced in this area and is starting to put ‘pen to paper’. We are very excited about the opportunity we have and all that God has entrusted us with.

Hope Carrier

Hope Carrier

While there has been some delays in our launch (thanks covid), we are SUPER excited to be launching our NEW school bag initiative, Hope Carrier, in 2021. The bags will enable children to be equipped with the resources they need for them to succeed in their education.

STAY TUNED for more details … coming really soon! We are so excited about the future …

God Bless you and THANK YOU for partnering with Hope Global …

With love,
Mark and Darlene Zschech, Scott and Melody Norling and our amazing Hope Global team!

An update from Fruits of Hope, Rwanda

After EIGHT (8) months, schools have finally been able to open again in Rwanda!

“We are very grateful to God for the decision of opening schools after 8 months of school closer due to COVID 19. On 2 November, schools have been able to open progressively. We were very excited, but at the same time there has been much increased responsibility and expenses to enable students to return to school. However, by His grace, we have managed to start with most of requirements in place and others are still in progress.

We had to put up washing station at the school entrance and small potable washing stations between every two classrooms. We were also required to install a kitchen. Again thanks to Hope Global and friends, we are able to give dignity to lives of learners who are using it. The feeding program has started, learners and parents are happy because it has lifted up the burden of learners walking a long distance to go for lunch and parents worry of their children wondering if they had lunch and gone back to school.

However, there are other learners I am trusting God to help so that every one has the same quality food and have it together at school. Those of whose parents can’t afford to make even a small contribution towards lunch.

We have made a new grassed area outside and are trusting God to complete it, including a ceiling to reduce the heat and more chairs and tables for everyone to seat comfortable while eating.

We are grateful for the work done already, the rest will be done progressively since most children will return in January 2021.”
