Earlier this month, over 1,400 women gathered in the eastern region of Sri Lanka for one of the largest women’s conferences in the country. Organised in partnership with local churches and funded by Hope Global, the event was completely free to attendees, many of whom are pastors and leaders faithfully serving their communities with little outside support.

The response has been deeply moving, with local pastors saying this kind of support and affirmation for women leaders is unprecedented. When we invest in women, we help shift the spiritual climate of entire communities.
