Project: HelpKids Sri Lanka

For nearly two decades, Narel and Alison Atkinson, missionaries with ACCi, have faithfully served in Sri Lanka, building trusted relationships with communities, churches, and government agencies. With the support of Hope Global, HelpKids Sri Lanka is bringing hope and transformation to children, families, and leaders across the nation.

At the heart of the mission is the HelpKids Centre — a vibrant, Christ-centred early education program designed to give children the best possible start in life. Based on Montessori principles, the Centre offers a nurturing and engaging environment where children from vulnerable backgrounds can grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

But it doesn’t stop there. HelpKids works closely with each child’s entire family, offering parenting support, practical assistance, and community connection. This wraparound approach ensures that families are strengthened, children thrive, and long-term impact is realised. Through our partnership, Hope Global is proud to support this work that is changing lives from the ground up.

Recognised and respected by local government agencies, HelpKids collaborates at a systems level to improve community wellbeing. These partnerships extend their reach and impact, enabling them to serve more families with greater sustainability.

From early education and family support to women’s ministry and leadership development, HelpKids Sri Lanka is making a lasting difference.
